OPENING OF TRAINING FOR PROSPECTIVE OFFICERS COMPLETION OF WHOLESALE TRADE PRICE WEIGH DIAGRAM

Today, Monday 20 March 2023 BPS Musi Banyuasin Regency held the opening of training for candidates for the Wholesale Price Weighing Chart Completion Survey (SPDT IHPB). The training which was held at the Cha-Cha Hotel was opened by the Head of BPS for Musi Banyuasin Regency, who in this case was represented by the Head of the Regional Accounts and Analysis Team for BPS for Musi Banyuasin Regency, Mrs. Vivi Yuliyantikarini, S.ST. The training was attended by 8 prospective officers consisting of 2 PML and 6 PCL.

This survey is a new activity conducted by BPS. This survey will produce a Wholesale Price Index (IHPB) which describes price changes at the wholesaler level. The purpose of calculating the WPI is as a GDP deflator produced by BPS and can be used as an indicator of economic policy analysis by Bank Indonesia (BI).
