Briefing of the Internal Assessment Team of Evaluation of Implementation of Sectoral Statistics 2023

Today, Tuesday 13 June 2023, BPS Musi Banyuasin Regency held a Briefing for the Internal Assessment Team (TPI) for the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS), which took place in the Virtual Room of the Musi Banyuasin Regency Communication and Informatics Service. The event was attended by the Head of the Musi Banyuasin Regency BPS, Trio Wira Dharma, S.ST., M.M. with the Musi Banyuasin Regency BPS Assessment Team.

Also present were the Dinkominfo Muba Sectoral Statistics Team, the Muba Bappeda Research and Development Team, and OPD representatives administering sectoral statistics in Musi Banyuasin Regency, the Environment Agency and the Musi Banyuasin Regency Food Security Service.

Based on Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and Regulations President Number 39 of 2019 concerning One Indonesian Data, mandated BPS as supervisor of sectoral statistics and supervisor of statistical data. Based on this, BPS organized an Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics to compile the Statistical Development Index (IPS) which measures the performance of sectoral statistics in Central Agencies/Regional Governments.

It is hoped that from this briefing activity, TPI will be able to carry out EPSS activities properly, so as to produce an IPS that is in line with developments in the implementation of sectoral statistics in the Musi Banyuasin region.
