* The value of South Sumatra exports in August 2015 increased by 12.69 percent compared to July 2015. However, when compared with the same period in 2014 (August 2014) the export of South Sumatra Province experienced a decrease of 4.03 percent.

* The export value of South Sumatra Province in August 2015 was US $ 221.92 million, consisting of oil and gas exports of US $ 26.56 million and US $ 195.36 million from non-oil and gas commodity exports.
