Abstract

A. RICE

™ Rice production in 2015 (Provisional Figures) was 4.25 million tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG), an increase of 577.49 thousand tons (15.73 percent) compared to 2014. The increase in production was due to an increase in harvested area and productivity respectively. 61.84 thousand hectares (7.63 percent) and 3.41 quintal / hectare (7.53 percent).

 

B. CORN

™ Corn production in 2015 (Provisional Figures) amounted to 288.78 thousand tons of dry shelled rice, an increase of 96.81 tons (50.43 percent) compared to 2014. The increase in production was due to an increase in harvested area and productivity respectively by 14.36 thousand hectares (44.96 percent) and 2.26 quintal / hectare (3.76 percent).

C. SOYBEAN

Soybean production in 2015 (Provisional Figures) was 16.82 thousand tons of dry beans, an increase of 4.27 thousand tons (34.01 percent) compared to 2014. The increase in production was due to an increase in harvested area of ​​3.91 thousand hectares (54 , 00 percent), while productivity has decreased by 2.25 quintal / hectare (12.98 percent).
