Abstract

* The value of South Sumatra exports in April 2016 increased by 9.44 percent compared to March 2016. However, when compared with the same period in 2015 (January - April 2015) the export of South Sumatra Province decreased by 33.72 percent.

* The export value of South Sumatra Province in April 2016 was US $ 162.56 million consisting of oil and gas exports of US $ 14.85 million and US $ 147.70 million of non-oil and gas commodity exports.

* The value of South Sumatra imports in April 2016 was US $ 46.92 million or decreased by 75.55 percent when compared to March 2016.

* April 2016's South Sumatra Province's imports of US $ 46.92 million consisted of oil and gas imports of US $ 1.44 million and non-oil and gas of US $ 45.48 million.
