SOUTH SUMATERA QUARTER II YEAR 2016 OF 3.85 PERCENT
 
ü The growth of production of medium large manufacturing industry (IBS) South Sumatera quarter II year 2016 of 3.85 percent, increased compared to growth in the previous quarter by minus 3.98 percent.
 
ü Most of the IBS production of South Sumatera has increased growth during the quarter II year 2016 except the paper industry and goods from the paper that have been slowing growth by minus 1.60 percent.
 
ü The increased growth of IBS production that occurred in almost all parts of Indonesia during the quarter II year 2016 led to the growth of national IBS increased by 3.54 percent.
 
SMALL MICRO MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION INDUSTRY GROWTH
SOUTH SUMATERA QUARTER II YEAR 2016 OF 4.10 PERCENT
 
ü Production of micro small manufacturing industry (IMK) South Sumatera quarter II year 2016 grew by 4.10 percent, increased 0.81 percent compared to the previous quarter's growth of 3.29 percent.
 
ü The highest production growth occurred in the engine industry and the YTDL equipment amounted to 17.80 percent, otherwise the lowest production growth occurred in the beverage industry by minus 11.49 percent.
 
ü In the quarter II year 2016, the growth of South Sumatera IMK production is lower than the national growth which increased by 5.74 percent.
