Economic South Sumatera Province semester I-2016 against semester I-2015 grew 5.05 percent (c-to-c) increased compared to the same period in 2015 by 4.65 percent

ü The economy of South Sumatera province measured based on gross Regional domestic product (PDRB) on the basis of the price in terms of semester I-2016 reached Rp 172.83 trillion and on the basis of constant price of 2010 reached Rp 130.87 trillion.
ü The economy of South Sumatera province semester I-2016 against the first semester of 2015 grew 5.05 percent (c-to-c) increased compared to the same period in 2015 by 4.65 percent. From the production side, the highest growth is achieved by the accommodation preparation and eating of 11.98 percent.
ü South Sumatera Province Economic quarter II-2016 against the quarter II-2015 grew 5.13 percent (Y-on-y) increased compared to the same period in 2015 by 4.71 percent. From the production side, the highest growth achieved by the procurement of electricity and gas amounted to 24.98 percent. From the side of expenditure by the government consumption expenditure component grew by 13.13 percent.
Economic South Sumatera Province quarter II-2016 against the previous quarter rose to 3.73 percent (Q-to-Q). In terms of production, growth is caused by agriculture, forestry and fisheries that grow by 7.95 percent. While from the expense side is more caused by the government consumption expenditure component that grows 30.34 percent.
