Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting the South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in August 2016 was 1,138 people. The number of foreign tourists who came to South Sumatra in August 2016 experienced an increase of 11.24 percent compared to July 2016. When compared to August 2015 the number of foreign tourists who visited increased by 29.76 percent, which rose from 877 people to 1,138 people . It is expected that in the following months the number of international tourist arrivals will increase
