Abstract

  • City of Palembang in May 2019, The calendar year inflation (cumulative 2019) is 0.82 percent, and inflation "year on year" (May 2019 against May 2018) is 2.20 percent.
  • Commodities which predominantly contribute to inflation in Palembang include: garlic, broiler meat and air freight.
  • Lubuk Linggau City in May 2019, Cumulative inflation (2019 Calendar Year) is 1.21 percent, and annual inflation "year on year" (May 2019 against May 2018) is equal to 2.10 percent.
  • The dominant commodity contributing to the share of inflation in Lubuk Linggau City includes: red chili, garlic, and chicken meat.
  • South Sumatra Province in May 2019, Cumulative inflation (2019 Calendar Year) is 0.86 percent, and annual inflation is "year on year" (May 2019 against May 2018 at 2.19 percent.
  • Indonesia in May 2019, based on monitoring prices during May 2019 at 82 Cities CPI, indicating that 81 CPI cities experienced inflation. While 1 city experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Tual City at 2.91 percent, the lowest in Kediri City, at 0.05 percent. Deflation only occurred in Merauke City, which was -0.49 percent.
