The number of air transport passengers coming to South Sumatra in March 2021 is 48,376 people

Air Transportation

• The total number of departures (embarkations) of commercial air transport passengers from South Sumatra in March 2021 totaled 49,539 people, an increase of 26.86 percent compared to February 2021 of 39,050 people.
• The total number of arrivals (debarkations) of commercial air transport passengers from South Sumatra in March 2021 totaled 48,376 people, an increase of 27.64 percent compared to February 2021, which amounted to 37,899 people.
• In March 2021 there will be no arrival and departure of passengers on international commercial flights to South Sumatra via Sultan Mahmud Badarudin Airport (SMB) II.

Sea Transportations

• The number of ship visits to Boom Baru Port and Sungai Lumpur Port in March 2021 was 543 ship visits, consisting of 472 domestic ship visits and 71 foreign ship visits. Ship visits in March increased by 27.76 percent compared to February 2021 with 425 visits.
• The total number of goods loaded at Boom Baru Port and Sungai Lumpur Port in March 2021 was 363,175 tons, up 8.38 percent compared to February 2021, which was 335,094 tons. With the number of goods for domestic purposes of 255,350 tons, an increase of 13.52 percent compared to February 2021 of 224,355 tons. And goods destined for foreign countries amounted to 107,825 tons, or down 2.63 percent compared to February 2021 which amounted to 110,739 tons.
• The total number of goods unloaded at Boom Baru Port and Sungai Lumpur Port in March 2021 totaled 144,111 tons, a decrease of 1.74 percent compared to February 2021 of 146,667 tons. With the number of domestic goods as many as 97,264 tons, an increase of 15.21 percent compared to February 2021 with 84,425 tons. And goods for foreign destinations amounted to 46,847 tons, or a decrease of 24.73 percent compared to February 2021, which was 62,242 tons.

Land Transportation

• The number of train passengers departing in March 2021 was 9,358 people, an increase of 17.78 percent compared to February 2021 of 7,945 people.
