Assessment of 20 Top Desa Cantik, Bailangu Village

As a continuation of the selection of Bailangu Village as the top 20 Desa Cantik at the national level, today (22/11) the Assessment Team from BPS RI visited Musi Banyuasin Regency for a field evaluation or direct assessment of Bailangu Village. The Bailangu Village Desa Cantik assessment was carried out directly by the Chair of the Indonesian Desa Cantik Team, Mr. Mohamad Fadlian Syah, S.ST, M.Si.

The agenda for this assessment activity begins with an audience with Pj. Regent of Musi Banyuasin Regency. Together with the Head of the Musi Banyuasin Regency BPS, the Chair of the Indonesian Cantik Village Team and the Chair of the South Sumatra Province Desa Cantik Team met with PJ. Regent in the regent's office meeting room. Pj. The Regent of Musi Banyuasin Regency welcomed the arrival of the Head of the BPS RI Desa Cantik Assessment Team, he said that the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government is utilizing data from the results of this Desa Cantik in the context of alleviating poverty and controlling commodity prices in Musi Banyuasin Regency.

Next, the assessment team along with the Head of BPS Musi Banyuasin Regency, the Head of Sekayu District and several OPD representatives continued their journey to Bailangu Village. In Bailangu Village, all the apparatus were present to welcome the arrival of the Desa Cantik Assessment Team. In his speech, the Head of Sekayu District hoped that Bailangu Village could be selected into the top 10 National Desa Cantik.

In closing, the Chair of the BPS RI Beautiful Village Team stated that he was impressed with the reception given by both BPS Musi Banyuasin Regency, Musi Banyuasin Regency Government and even by Bailangu Village officials. He also hopes for the same thing, so that Desa Cantik can be selected as the top 10 National Desa Cantik.

After the welcoming event was finished, the next agenda was an assessment of Bailangu Village, namely by interviewing the village operator and the supervisor of the Desa Cantik of Musi Banyuasin Regency.
