Abstract

Indonesia's 2012 Anti-Corruption Behavior Index (IPAK) is 3.55 from a scale of 5. It means that Indonesian people tend to be anti-corruption. (Note: the index value 0-1,25 is very permissive to corruption, 1.26-2.50 permissive, 2.51-3.35 anti-corruption, 3.76-5.00 is very anti-corruption).
; IPAK in urban areas is slightly higher (3.66) than in rural areas (3.46).
; IPAK tends to be higher in respondents aged less than 60 years than after age 60 years and over. IPAK of the population less than 40 years old is 3.57, ages 40 to 59 years old is 3.58 and 60 years and over is 3.45. This means that the spirit of anti-corruption between old age and young age does not differ significantly.
; The higher the education, the higher the IPAK. The IPAK of respondents with junior high school education is below 3.47, senior high school is 3.78 and above high school is 3.93. Education has a strong influence on the spirit of anti-corruption.
