The export value of South Sumatra Province in September 2015 was US $ 189.61 million consisting of oil and gas exports of US $ 26.24 million and US $ 163.38 million from non-oil and gas commodity exports.

South Sumatra Province's imports in September 2015 amounted to US $ 154.02 million consisting of oil and gas imports of US $ 4.53 million and non-oil and gas US $ 149.49 million

The value of South Sumatra imports in September 2015 amounted to US $ 154.02 million or decreased by 12.07 percent when compared to August 2015.
