Abstract

* The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang in February 2016 as many as 980 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in February 2016 increased by 15.57 percent compared to January 2016.

* Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in February 2016 reached an average of 47.21 percent, or down 3.00 points compared to the ROR for hotels in January 2016 of 50.21 percent. Meanwhile, if observed according to hotel classification, it turns out that in February 2016 the ROR for three-star hotels reached 56.54 percent and was the highest ROR of hotels compared to other star-class hotels.

* The average length of stay of foreign guests in February 2016 was 1.78 days, decreasing by 0.73 days compared to the average length of stay of foreign guests in January 2016. While the average length of stay of Nusantara / Domestic guests in the month February 2016 also decreased by 0.28 days compared to the average length of stay of domestic guests in January 2016.
