SOUTH SUMATERA QUARTER I 2016 IN MINUS OF 3.92 PERCENT

ü The growth of production of the Large Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) of South Sumatra in the first quarter of 2016 was minus 3.92 percent, far lower than the growth in the fourth quarter of 2015 which was 0.93 percent.

ü All IBS production in South Sumatra experienced negative growth during the First Quarter of 2016 with the lowest growth occurring in the Food Industry of minus 4.08 percent.

Nationally, IBS production growth in the first quarter of 2016 also experienced a slowdown of minus 1.34 percent.

GROWTH OF SMALL MICRO MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION

SOUTH SUMATERA QUARTER I OF 2016 AT 3,29 PERCENT

ü South Sumatra's Small Micro Manufacturing Industry (IMK) Production in the first Quarter of 2016 grew by 3.29 percent, slightly lower than the previous quarter's growth of 5.24 percent.

ü The highest production growth occurred in the Other Transport Equipment Industry of 12.52 percent, while the lowest production growth occurred in the Beverage Industry of minus 4.87 percent.
