The consumer Tendency Index (ITK) is an indicator of the latest consumer economic developments produced by the Central Board of Statistics through Consumer Tendency Survey (STK). ITK is an index depicting the economic condition of the consumer on the quarterly and approximate future quarter.
The number of STK samples in the quarter II-2016 as many as 14,600 households across the province in Indonesia. The sample selection is done in a panel between quarterly to get a more accurate picture of changes in consumer perception between time. Þ The economic conditions of the THIRD quarter-2016 are estimated at 105.47, meaning that the consumer economic conditions are expected to improve. The level of consumer optimism is expected to be lower compared to quarter II-2016.
